Some stuff about me: I am obsessed with all things new and techy-like. I spend equal time getting bruised up on my bike and prancing around in pink and sequins. I dislike spit on the sidewalk, mayonnaise and the seams on the toes of socks. I enjoy french bulldogs, cupcakes, post-modern philosophy and fat snowflakes that fly back up. I have a tendency to social theorize everything, but I also have an appreciation for the just plain absurd.

Perhaps the word “paradoxes” would serve this concept better than “contradictions.”

Oh now this. This is good.
Athough I’m a devoted follower of Jesus, I struggle to understand most “christians” and their way of thinking. So many are caught up in a world that they believe is righteous, but most of the time they’re close minded. They look down on homosexuals, people who drink, teenage parents, people who swear, instead of making friends with them. They try and convert strangers into believing exactly what they believe, by telling them the way they’re living is wrong, instead of befriending them and becoming a positive light in their lives. I would much rather spend time with atheists etc. so I can learn more about their way of thinking and they can see that not all followers of Jesus are trying to convert them.
Jesus loved people. He loved everyone, regardless of their age, race, gender or sexuality. He listened to everyone. He made time for the poor and beaten down. He enjoyed hanging out with the ill. He was the complete opposite of high and mighty and he died humbly.
It’s not about religion. It’s about giving everybody a chance to believe what they see fit.

Yes.
